A recall notice is not a statement that a product is dangerous to every animal that ate it. It is a statement that a defined batch may be, which is why the lot code matters more than the brand name. Check the code on the packaging against the notice before you throw anything away or panic about what was fed last week — most of a recalled brand's stock is usually unaffected.
