Privacy policy

The short version: PetCareForms does not want your personal data and does not collect it. The detail follows.

What we collect

PetCareForms has no accounts, no sign-up, and no newsletter. We do not ask for your name, email address, or anything else that identifies you.

If you email us, we hold that email in order to reply to it. Nothing else is done with it.

Analytics

We use Google Tag Manager to load Google Analytics 4, which counts page views and tells us which pages are useful. IP addresses are anonymised by Google before we receive any data. We do not receive or store anything that identifies an individual visitor.

Analytics runs with consent denied by default. Nothing is stored on your device and no measurement cookie is set until you accept in the banner. Declining is a real choice, not a dismissal.

The sitter binder and other generators

The sitter binder generator runs entirely in your browser. What you type — your pet’s name, microchip number, medication, your veterinary practice, your phone number, the dates you are away — is never transmitted to us or to anyone else. The PDF is assembled on your own device and saved by your own browser.

The same is true of every printable download on this site: the PDF is generated locally when you press the button. Nothing is uploaded, and we keep no copy of anything you generate.

Recall summaries

Recall pages are written from public FDA announcements and link to the original. Following that link takes you to fda.gov, which has its own privacy policy. We receive nothing about you from the FDA and send nothing to it.

Cookies

The site sets no advertising cookies. Google Analytics may set a cookie once you accept in the consent banner; your accept-or-decline choice itself is stored in your browser’s local storage so you are not asked on every page. You can block or clear both through your browser settings at any time.

Children

PetCareForms is intended for adults — pet owners, fosterers, sitters and rescue volunteers — not for children directly. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

California residents (CCPA)

We do not sell or share personal information. Because we hold no personal data about visitors, there is generally nothing to access, correct, or delete.

Your rights (GDPR and other privacy laws)

We hold no personal data about visitors, so there is generally nothing to access, correct, or delete. If you have emailed us and would like that correspondence removed, contact us and it will be deleted.

For data collected by Google through Analytics, use Google’s own tools: Google Account privacy controls and Google Ad Settings.

Hosting

This site is hosted on Vercel, which processes standard server request logs under its own privacy policy.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. If advertising or affiliate links are ever added, this page will say so before they appear.
